Review by hotel critic
Review of Adler HotelDuring my recent visit to the Adler Hotel, a charming establishment dating back to 1617, I found it to be an intriguing blend of comfort and history at a reasonable price. For just €50 per night, I appreciated the thoughtful housekeeping, which included a pleasant surprise of my clothes being neatly folded. The room featured parquet flooring and was both clean and well-furnished, contributing to a cozy ambiance that many travelers, including history enthusiasts like myself, would appreciate. The hotel's location is particularly advantageous, providing easy access to the enchanting wine trails and medieval towns along the Nectar River, including Esslingen and Bad Cannstatt-a true treat for any history professor. The S-Bahn service from Stuttgart is efficient, taking only a short 10-minute ride, further enhancing the hotel's value proposition. While the accommodations are not luxurious, they certainly meet the essential needs of a traveler. A nearby Swabian restaurant offers delightful local cuisine, enhancing the overall experience. My only concern was the inconsistency of the Wi-Fi, which may impact guests who rely on connectivity.
